GUIDED TOUR IN VENICE
VENICE ISLAND

The private water taxi will pick you up at Piazzale Roma and take you along the Grand Canal to St. Mark’s Square, then along the Rio dei Greci.
If the tide permits, the next part of the tour will be around the hospital square, exiting at the Fondamente Nuove.
You will then enter the Rio della Madonna dell’Orto, continuing along the Rio dei Tre Archi, and ending back at Piazzale Roma.
MURANO ISLAND

The private water taxi will pick you up at Piazzale Roma and take you to the island of Murano via the Grand Canal, nearly 4 km long and 30 to 70 meters wide, forming an inverted S in the heart of the city. Once the city’s main navigable trade route, it connected the San Marco basin and the lagoon with the Rialto trading center.
Once you arrive on the island, you can visit a glassworks to see how Venetians shape glass. You can also take a stroll and enjoy a traditional meal.
The tour is self-guided, but we can arrange a return trip by private taxi if you prefer.
For the Murano tour, it’s also possible to go directly to Murano without passing through the Grand Canal.
BURANO ISLAND

A private water taxi will pick you up at Piazzale Roma and take you to the island of Burano.
Once you arrive on the island, you can admire the famous colorful houses and stroll to the Lace Museum.
You can then visit a pastry shop and taste the island’s typical biscuits, called “buranei.”
The tour is self-guided, but we can arrange a private taxi return if you prefer.
TORCELLO ISLAND

A private water taxi will pick you up at Piazzale Roma and take you to the island of Torcello.
The island is often overlooked, but don’t make that mistake!
Torcello was the first island in Venice to be inhabited. In the square are the Torcello Museum, with its priceless archaeological remains dating back to the Roman era, and the Church of Santa Fosca. We recommend a visit to the adjacent Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, founded way back in 639. The tour is self-guided, but we can arrange a return trip by private taxi if you prefer.
